What this is

Entertainment Promoter's Licence Fees constitute non-tax public revenue collected by the Government for the processing and issuance of a licence authorizing an individual or legal entity to organize, produce, promote, or operate live entertainment events within the national territory. The licence is required to ensure that entertainment promoters comply with the legal and regulatory framework governing the cultural sector, including requirements relating to public safety, the protection of artists, copyright and related rights, and other applicable administrative standards. The fees contribute to financing government regulatory, inspection, monitoring, and promotional activities within the cultural and entertainment industries while supporting the professional development of the live entertainment sector.
