What this is
The establishment of an engineering program in Cameroon is a process overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education, which authorizes such programs at public universities and higher education institutes. Any promoter wishing to launch an engineering program must sign an affiliation agreement with a Cameroonian state university. They are required to submit detailed curricula that meet engineering standards, a list of qualified faculty members, and an inventory of laboratories and technical equipment. A joint commission inspects the facilities, and if the assessment is favorable, an official order authorizing the opening of the engineering program is signed.
