Overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education, this administrative procedure enables a private higher education institution to establish and offer a new professional bachelor's degree program. To launch such a program, the institute is required to sign a mentorship agreement with a Cameroonian state university. Authorization to open the program is granted following an on-site inspection of the facilities, equipment, and quality of the teaching staff. The institute's promoter must submit, among other items: a stamped application, a copy of the official order authorizing the institution's establishment or opening, and a certified location map of the institution.
