Research Protocol Evaluation Fees in Cameroon are fees charged for the scientific and ethical assessment of any study involving human participants. This evaluation is carried out under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health, through its specialized bodies, including the National Ethics Committee for Research in Human Health (CNERSH), the Regional Ethics Committees for Research in Human Health (CRERSH), and the Institutional Ethics Committees for Research in Human Health (CEIRSH). Evaluation fees are payable by any Principal Investigator wishing to conduct a study involving human participants, health products, or medical devices. These fees cover the scientific and ethical assessment of the research protocol by the aforementioned committees, with a view to obtaining ethical clearance.
