What this is
In Cameroon, an audiovisual license is an operating permit issued by the Ministry of Communication that allows the creation and operation of a private audiovisual communication company (radio, television, or audiovisual content aggregator). Signing a terms of reference specifying the audiovisual operator's obligations in terms of coverage, program quality, and adherence to ethics is required before the audiovisual license is granted. The license is valid for 5 years for all types of operators. The operator must submit a renewal request at least six months before the current license expires.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
