What this is
The certificate of deletion is the official document by which the maritime authority certifies that a vessel has been formally removed from the national registry where it was previously listed. It serves as legal proof that registration under the original flag has ended, thereby freeing the vessel from any obligations associated with that registry and enabling its re-registration under a new flag or its permanent decommissioning.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
