What this is
Fees for archaeological excavation authorizations issued to accredited archaeology firms are non-tax public revenues collected by the Government in consideration of issuing permits that authorize accredited archaeology firms to conduct archaeological excavations within the national territory. These fees are payable by accredited firms before commencing archaeological surveys, trial excavations, or excavation activities, in accordance with the applicable regulations. They cover the administrative and technical processing of applications, the assessment of the scientific work program, the verification of project compliance, and the monitoring and supervision of field operations. The fees are intended to ensure that archaeological excavations are carried out in accordance with scientific, technical, and environmental standards, safeguard and preserve the national archaeological heritage, prevent unauthorized excavations and the illicit trafficking of cultural property, and support the financing of government inspection, monitoring, and cultural heritage management activities.
What readers say they paid
The instrument sets a fee. At the counter it is not always that one. Here is what readers report, counted and summed up.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. It is published as counted figures, never as your account of it.
