Fees collected for phytosanitary controls and inspections carried out on plants, plant products, plant derivatives and other regulated articles intended for export by air. These operations aim to verify compliance with applicable phytosanitary requirements, prevent the spread of harmful organisms and plant diseases, and ensure adherence to the standards and requirements of the destination country. They also help ensure that products meet the conditions required for export and, where applicable, phytosanitary certification before shipment from the airport platform. The corresponding fees are payable by exporters or concerned operators in accordance with applicable regulations and constitute non-tax revenues generated from phytosanitary control and inspection services.
