What this is
This non-tax revenue applies to engineering consultancy firms and expert offices seeking the issuance or renewal of their institutional accreditation from MINEPDED. This regulatory instrument officially certifies the legal compliance, technical expertise, and methodological capacity of the firm to conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and Environmental Audits. This accreditation authorizes the firm to rigorously evaluate the environmental and social impacts of investment projects, prioritize associated risks, and design Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) incorporating mitigation, compensation, or corrective measures.
