What this is
The Ministry for the Promotion of Women and the Family penalizes any activity initiated without first obtaining a letter of agreement in principle or an operating permit. Unauthorized operation of day nurseries or drop-in childcare centers results in mandatory closure and the imposition of fines. Fines for non-compliance with the terms and conditions of operation apply to facilities that fail to meet standards regarding hygiene, safety, staff-to-child ratios, or staff qualifications. Sanctions range from formal notices to the suspension or permanent revocation of the operating permit, accompanied by fines.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
