What this is
The professional driver identification badge serves as proof of identity, compliance, and good character for drivers in Cameroon's public transport sector. Issued by the Ministry of Transport, this document helps to regulate the sector by combating unlicensed drivers and ensuring passenger safety. Obtaining the badge requires a file containing the driver's personal documents (stamped application form, certified copy of driver's license, valid certificate of competence, national identity card, criminal record check, etc.) as well as professional documentation (employment certificate or membership card from an approved transport union).
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
