What this is
Annual ISBN (International Standard Book Number) Membership Fees constitute non-tax public revenue collected by the Government in consideration of the annual registration of publishers in the national ISBN system and the allocation of standardized identifiers for publications. These fees are payable by publishing houses, publishing organizations, and other authorized entities engaged in book publishing, in accordance with the applicable regulations. The annual membership enables publishers to maintain their registered status, request ISBN numbers for their publications, and benefit from bibliographic management services provided by the national ISBN agency. The revenue supports the administration of the ISBN system, the standardization of publications, improved monitoring of the publishing sector, and the promotion and development of the national book and publishing industry.
