What this is
The MINEPIA Veterinary Sanitary Inspection Tax (TISV) for international transit is a mandatory non-tax revenue levied on live animals and products of animal or fishery origin arriving from a third country and crossing national territory (Cameroon) en route to another country. This revenue generates funds to cover the costs of escort services, verification of seal integrity at entry and exit points, and the prevention of risks involving contamination or the accidental introduction of diseases into the country. Payment is required at the customs border to obtain the sanitary transit pass, which is essential for the movement of the cargo under customs control.
What readers say they paid
The instrument sets a fee. At the counter it is not always that one. Here is what readers report, counted and summed up.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. It is published as counted figures, never as your account of it.
