What this is
Metrology ensures fair trade and protects consumers against quantity fraud. It encompasses all instruments that determine weight, volume, length, or pressure. Metrology is applied in numerous sectors, such as weighing (beacons, weighbridges) and gauging (fuel pumps, electricity and water meters). Taxes and fees related to metrology are levies collected by the Ministry of Commerce for the control, calibration, and verification of measuring instruments.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
