What this is
In Cameroon, secure wildlife transport documents are issued by the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF). These documents are used to trace, control, and certify the legality of the origin and movement of wildlife products within the national territory. They allow control teams to verify the cargo during road and rail transit, as well as during export. These documents prevent the sale and transport of protected species obtained through poaching.
