What this is
Mortgages and privileges are regulated non-tax revenues collected by the State as part of the management and protection of real property rights and securities. A mortgage is a real security granted over immovable property to secure a debt, while a privilege is a legal priority right granted to certain creditors over a debtor’s assets. These revenues arise from registration, cancellation, and administrative fees related to such securities. Their purpose is to ensure the security of financial transactions, protect creditors by granting them preferential rights, and generate revenue for the State. They cover file registration, verification of supporting documents, registration in land or security registers, and the issuance of relevant certificates. The management and collection of these revenues are carried out by the competent services of MINDCAF and the relevant courts, with payments made through revenue collection offices or Public Treasury platforms.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
