What this is
The wildlife possession tax levied by the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife allows any citizen or organization to legally possess wild animals, animal remains, or trophies. The following users are required to pay the tax: individuals owning wild pets or hunting trophies, breeding centers, private zoos or wildlife parks, and artisans or businesses handling wildlife products (ivory, hides, etc.). To comply with the tax, users must submit a file (application, proof of the animal's legal origin) to the territorially competent MINFOF's office.
What readers say they paid
The law sets a fee. At the counter it is not always the one you pay. Here is what readers report, counted and summarised.
Nobody has reported an amount for this procedure yet.
If you have done it, say what you paid. We publish the figures together, never your account on its own.
